British Esports Championships
for schools and colleges

A competitive video gaming competition for students aged 12+ across the UK,
featuring tournaments in Rocket League, Overwatch and League Of Legends.

Esports and education: The world’s first esports BTEC

The British Esports Association is leading the way in esports education – particularly in the college space – to create pathways for young people seeking careers in esports and other closely linked digital industries. We have partnered with global education publisher Pearson to develop the first esports BTEC qualification of its kind in the world.

What is esports?

Esports (electronic sports) is competitive video gaming.
Tournaments usually consist of amateur or professional
gamers competing against one another for a cash prize.
